The Golden State Warriors defended the New York Knicks in a game with the final being 110 to 99 in the Madison Square Garden. In this contest Stephen Curry had a three pointer that was made with 17 seconds into the game giving the Warriors an early lead. This lead the Warriors had the remaining 47 plus minutes to win their seventh consecutive game on the road. Curry led the team with 31 points and eleven rebounds, Jonathan Kuminga had a total of 25 points and eight assists in the win.

Quick Beginning

The Warriors held the Knicks scoreless during the first five minutes of the game with a 14 to zero lead making this the largest run to open game since the 1996-97 season for the Warriors. Stephen Curry led it early with three of his shots being three pointers, As for the Knicks they missed their first nine field goal attempts of the game. The Warriors lead with a peaked 17 points before they ended the first quarter with a score of 31-19 a 12 point advantage after this quarter making it their highest of the season.

Draymond Green fills the stats sheet

Draymond Green was leaving fingerprints everywhere on the stat sheet and Green recorded seven points, ten rebounds, six assists and a single block shot and was three for four in shooting.

Road Winning Streak

The Warriors road winning streak now is at seven wins straight making it the longest winning streak since the 2018-19 season when it went from December 29th 2018 to February 8th 2019 where they won 12 of their last 15 games with their 12th one coming on January 30th 2019 and making it the most in the NBA.

The Warriors are going to keep going on their road trip stopping in Canada to play the Toronto Raptors on Friday and then they come back into the states to play in Boston against the Celtics before coming home to host Milwaukee and Doc Rivers and the Bucks on Wednesday.
