After a perfect run through group play at the NBA 2K League’s The Tipoff tournament, top-seeded T-Wolves Gaming were eliminated Thursday by Bucks Gaming in a semifinal matchup in Washington, D.C.
After group play determined seeding for bracket play, the top four teams from each conference gathered in the nation’s capital for the in-person elimination portion of The Tipoff. Play will continue until Saturday’s grand final.

Fourth-seeded Bucks Gaming won 70-66 and 88-77 to stun the previously unbeaten T-Wolves Gaming. In Game 1, Artreyo “Dimez” Boyd had 20 points and 12 rebounds to help offset Michael “BearDaBeast” Key, who led T-Wolves Gaming with 32 points and 12 assists.
