NFL Power Rankings

NFL Power Rankings Week 9

  1. Miami Dolphins (2-4)

Tough loss on Sunday for Miami but they get Tua back this week, they immediately move up the list because of that.

  1. Cincinnati Bengals (3-4)

The Bengals are chopping away to get back to .500 and get into the playoff picture as soon as they can.

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2)

I believe the move to Russell Wilson at QB was an important one, in order to be a real playoff team they need to be able to throw the ball consistently.

  1. Denver Broncos (4-3)

Sean Payton took playing his former team personally, that was a focused serious football team that beat up on the Saints last week.

  1. Seattle Seahawks (4-3)

The Seahawks got back into the win column after going 0-3 the last 3 weeks. They beat up on a good Falcons team, which was a nice win for rookie head coach Mike MacDonald.

  1. Arizona Cardinals (3-4)

The Cardinals are tested heading to Miami to play the Dolphins with Tua, but have beaten better teams before. The Cardinals when their defense is playing well are a good football team.

  1. Dallas Cowboys (3-3)

The Cowboys are going to come out of the gates hot next game since getting their you know what kicked by the Lions.

  1. Chicago Bears (4-2)

It is such a shame the Bears have to be good now that the NFC North is this good. The last place Bears are 4-2, isn’t that crazy to say!

  1. Atlanta Falcons (4-3)

The Falcons need to bounce back if they want to win their division, they took a beating against the Seahawks this past Sunday and had no answers on defense.

  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-3)

Similar to their division rival Falcons, the Buccaneers also took a beating. The Ravens are a good football team, but if the Buccaneers want to be considered a contender they need to at least stay in games like that.

  1. Philadelphia Eagles (4-2)

The Eagles are on the right track now after a rough few weeks. Saquon Barkley ran all over his previous team.

  1. San Francisco 49ers (3-4)

The 49ers might be the best 3-4 team of all time, unfortunately for them that does not matter. CMC remains out and Brandon Aiyuk just got injured. They need to figure out ways to win.

  1. Washington Commanders (5-2)

Even without Jayden Daniels the Commanders got it done. Marcus Mariota looked excellent in this offense, Kliff Kingsbury deserves a raise for his play calling duties.

  1. Buffalo Bills (5-2)

It looked ugly at first, but the Bills ran away with the ballgame against the Titans. Josh Allen has yet to throw an interception this year, what a turnaround in that regard for him.

  1. Houston Texans (5-2)

The Texans lost a close one on the road to the Packers, they looked good however. The Packers DC Jeff Hafley brought some different pressures than CJ Stroud is used to.

  1. Green Bay Packers (5-2)

Impressive showing on all fronts for the Packers. They are disciplined and aggressive on defense, and their offense is explosive and electric.

  1. Baltimore Ravens (5-2)

The Ravens have been a machine for the last few weeks since starting 1-2, Derrick Henry looks like the best runningback in the NFL.

  1. Minnesota Vikings (5-1)

Even though they took their first loss, the Vikings impressed the hell out of me. They showed the last few weeks they can play with the NFL’s best teams. Look out for them.

  1. Detroit Lions (5-1)

The Lions look awesome this year, they gutted out a win against a really tough Vikings team on the road. What a kick from John Bates to win the game for them.

  1. Kansas City Chiefs (6-0)

The Chiefs continue to win, even when people say they shouldn’t. Mahomes is having a rough year, but the Chiefs defense and run game is so good they continue to win games.
