Los Angeles Dodgers at New York Mets (LAD Leads 3-1)
Jack Flaherty vs. David Peterson
Over 7.5 Runs Scored (-105)
The Dodgers hold a commanding lead over the Mets, and look like they are just too dominant to knock out of this postseason. This line would’ve hit in every single one of these games so far, and the trend looks to stay the same tonight. Not only is the over 5-0 in Flaherty’s last five starts, but after being seen once this series, the Mets may have a better idea as to how to get to the Dodger right hander and put up some runs.
Dodgers Player Props:
Enrique Hernandez o0.5 Hits (-140 FanDuel)
Hernandez finds himself with another favorable pitching matchup for him to stay productive at the plate in game five. Against Peterson in seven at bats, Hernandez has a .571 batting average and a 1.286 OPS. Coming off of two consecutive multi-hit games, Hernandez will look to help push this Dodgers team to the World Series tonight.
Shohei Ohtani o1.5 Total Bases (+115)
Since going to Citi Field Shohei Ohtani has elevated his offense production for Los Angeles. In back to back games, Ohtani has hit a home run and with a .375 batting average against David Peterson, we’ll take him to record at least two total bases again.
Jack Flaherty o16.5 Outs (-110)
Dave Roberts has done a great job of managing this Dodgers pitching staff in this series. Part of that has been the ability to limit the amount of times his relievers see Mets hitters. With that trend in mind, it would make sense for Flaherty to go over this 16.5 out line, especially after his seven inning outing earlier this series.
Mets Player Props:
Pete Alonso Over 0.5 Hits (-135 FanDuel)
In a smaller sample size of five at bats, Alonso has recorded a pair of hits against Flaherty for a .400 batting average. In a possible elimination game for New York, the Mets need their power hitters like Pete Alonso to come through and deliver a big hit tonight.
Jesse Winker Over 0.5 Hits (-127)
We went to this prop in Flaherty’s last outing and it hit early on in the game. For that we’re going to Winker again to record a hit tonight. After Flaherty’s first outing in this series, Winker now has a .375 batting average with nine hits and two home runs.
New York Yankees at Cleveland Guardians (NYY Leads 2-1)
Luis Gil vs. Gavin Williams
Yankees Moneyline (-120)
The Yankees suffered a heartbreaking loss in an instant classic back and forth extra innings thriller that was capped off by a David Fry home run. This game four is crucial for New York to try and stop some momentum that’s beginning to gain in Progressive Field and within the Cleveland clubhouse.
With Luis Gil on the mound with a lot of rest since his last start, he should be as good as he was to start the 2024 season. The adrenaline of the postseason combined with his velocity could make him slightly erratic, but if he’s on the Yankees will be hard to beat in this one.
Yankees Player Props:
Luis Gil Over 13.5 Outs (-120 DraftKings)
As previously mentioned with all the rest Gil has had since the regular season has ended, he should be good to go past this line. Unless his control is all over the place, Gil should be able to go at least 4.2 innings pitched. With the extra innings game last night as well, Aaron Boone could use Gil to go deep into the game tonight.
Aaron Judge Over 0.5 Runs
In the last four games dating back to the final game of the ALDS, Aaron Judge has recorded a run. He’s seemed to snap out of his postseason slump with home runs in two consecutive games. In a game that’s important to taking momentum back for the Yankees, the captain has to help produce runs again.
Guardians Player Props:
Brayan Rocchio Over 0.5 Hits (-105 BetMGM)
This postseason very few Guardians hitters have been as or more productive than Brayan Rocchio. He has a hit in every single game this postseason, recording 11 hits in eight games. The bottom of this Cleveland order needs to contribute if they want to win tonight, and Rocchio is arguably the biggest part of it.
