Owls Dominate in Denton: FAU Defeats North Texas in Four Sets

Florida Atlantic traveled to Denton to face North Texas (8-16, 5-8 AAC) in an important AAC showdown. Entering the match, UNT had a five match losing streak while Florida Atlantic was coming off a sweep over Temple. A weekend trip to Texas could not have started better for FAU as the Owls earned a 3-1 victory over the Mean Green.

Senior Night Success: FAU’s Commanding Victory over Charlotte Propels Owls to AAC Tournament

The only American Athletic match played on Saturday was between FAU and Charlotte (8-2-5, 3-2-2 AAC). If Florida Atlantic was able to win or draw they would find themselves in the conference tournament. Well, on senior night the Owls decided to not just win, but to dominate the match from start to finish to extend the season to next week.

Owls’ Tournament Hopes Dashed as FAU Falls to UTSA in Final Match of Season

On the scariest night of the year FAU traveled to San Antonio, Texas to face UTSA (8-7-3, 3-5-2 AAC) in a de facto tournament match. The winner of the match could find themselves in the AAC tournament as long as Tulsa lost to Memphis. Sadly for both teams Tulsa tied, but the final regular season match of the season had all the excitement for an eventful Halloween night.

Owls Stumble as USF Evens the Season Series in an In-State Showdown

After facing off ten days ago, the Owls traveled to South Florida (13-9, 9-2 AAC) in hopes of earning the season sweep. In the previous match between the two Florida Atlantic dominated, upsetting the Bulls 3-1. This time around though, USF got the better of FAU, earning the final three sets in a 3-1 victory.
