Second Practice information
Fernando Alonso ended the second practice for the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix on top setting the fastest lap in the second practice leading the way from George Russell and Max Verstappen.
The keys things from the practice
Following a ten minute delay to start the session the lights went green for the second practice with the conditions being what is expected to be for Saturday’s night race, after the first practice was hotter and more humid temperatures.
The Stewarts are looking into investigating a potential impending incident between Lewis Hamilton and Logan Sargeant after the session was over. With Williams having to avoid after encountering the slow Mercedes.
Carlos Sainz, and Lewis Hamilton of who was reporting no power in the final minutes Pierre Gastly and Oscar Piastri rounded out the top ten.
Yuki Tsunoda ended the hour as the lead the RB in eleventh followed by the McLearn of Lando Norris in 12th and then the Kick Sauber’s Zhou Guanyu put himself into 13th place just one hundredth of a second in front of Alex Albion in 14th place. Esteban Ocon claimed 15th and Logan Sargeant got 16th while the Haas duo Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg 17th and 18th respectively. Daniel Ricciardo ended the day down in 19th position and Valtteri Bottas was 20th place

With the opening day of track action now complete the teams are looking at all the data they have before the third practice and qualifying on Friday.
