Florida Atlantic (pictured above, Angelina LaBelle) traveled to the City of Brotherly Love for their first of two matches against AAC foe Temple (7-9) (1-3). The third matchup of the Owls saw Temple gaining the victory after sweeping Florida Atlantic to gain first AAC victory.
The Temple Owls migrated to South Florida to face Florida Atlantic for FAU’s second conference match of the season. In the face-off of the Owls it was a 1-1 final as neither team could find a second goal.
Football is back in full force this week, as week 0 has come and gone, meaning week 1 and a full slate of AAC games are on tap for this weekend.
emple is slowly becoming the darlings of College Basketball, as they knocked off FAU 74-73 in the Semi Finals of the AAC tournament, making it 4 post-season wins in a row, and moving one game away from the NCAA Tournament
FAU came out of the gates with strong energy and built on it throughout the game as they defeated temple 80-68, behind the usually raucous home crowd. It was a team effort, as the Owls had 5 players score in double figures and were led by Johnell Davis who scored a quiet 17 & Alijah Martin right behind him with 16.
