Leadership and Family Lead Cam Fancher to FAU

Cam Fancher has officially taken the reins at quarterback for the FAU Owls and it has been a fast rise for him from transfer, to captain, and now leader of the offense.

The Owls got their leader early in the offseason on December 22nd, and he has quickly earned the trust of the coaches and players around him, with FAU Coach Tom Herman noting his success in the spring, summer, and fall camp, while also noticing the little things he does outside of football to earn the trust of those around him.

The fast rise for him is no surprise to Cam’s beacon of support, which features his Mom April, Dad Jermaine, Step-Dad Tyrone Hogan, and siblings Cierra, Cayden, Cali, and Isaiah, who have seen him grow up into the leader he is both on and off the field, and it’s that leadership, combined with his family’s support which have led him to where he is today.

Herman Announces Cam Fancher as FAU Football’s Starting Quarterback

FAU Fall Camp Wraps Up Camp with Second Scrimmage, Herman Cautiously Optimistic

It was a duel in paradise as the Owls took the field for the second scrimmage of FAU fall camp. It was a battle as the first and second team defense stymied Cam Fancher and Tyriq Starks at times, however, the Owls offense eventually got in a groove, which created a balanced afternoon and showcased talent on both sides.

Dolphins put former FAU WR Je’Quan Burton at RB in preseason game

Out of necessity the Miami Dolphins have found a new way to use former FAU WR Je’Quan Burton in today’s 13-6 preseason victory over the Commanders.

Midway through the 3rd quarter following an injury to 3rd string running back Chris Brooks, the Dolphins opted to sub in Burton at the position rather than have De’Von Achane suit back up.
