The Seminoles (5-1) and Owls (5-2) both have had great starts to the season. Florida Atlantic wanted to have the opportunity to build their résumé as they faced off against #21 Florida State, but the ‘Noles were too strong as FAU fell 3-0.
Two teams starting the season in different directions met for their first conference match of the season. North Texas (4-2-1) came into the contest with a five match unbeaten streak while Florida Atlantic (0-4-2) had played only one match since August 30th.

The Owls close out their first road-trip on the season with a productive weekend in Lubbock, Texas. The Owls gained a 3-1 victory over Northern Arizona to complete a 2-1 road-trip. Florida Atlantic now has their fifth win of the season.
