They are starting to wind down their April meet, and today, their featured race is an allowance race for three-year-old fillies going a mile and three-sixteenths on the turf course here. We head to Tampa Bay Downs for our weekly Wednesday stop as Tampa Bay Downs will close out their nine-race card with a one-mile turf race for three-year-olds. Post time for their finale today is set for approximately 4:25 pm Eastern time.
After a diversion to the featured race of the day which featured the Bleacher Brothers’ adopted horse Uncle Ernie, we head back to the same ol’, same ol’, we will look at race six at Parx on this Tuesday. We have seven maiden claimers going one mile today with a post time of approximately 2:58 pm Eastern time.

Well, the adopted horse of Bleacher Brothers is running today in the Page McKenney Handicap, which is a race for Pennsylvania-bred three-year-olds and up going seven furlongs on the main track. These are the two races I looked at today, and if you watched or listened to the show, I had an idea of having a theme. One of the races today, the Federico Tesio at Laurel Park, and tomorrow’s Illinois Derby, both are eligible for the Preakness if they are nominated for the Triple Crown.
