Jyden, Knicks top NBL in NBA 2K League’s The Turn

Jyden “Jyden” McBath-Spencer poured in 26 points and dished out 11 assists while leading Knicks Gaming to a 77-66 win over NBL Oz Gaming on Monday in New York.

The in-person, group-play match was the lone action of the day in the NBA 2K League’s The Turn event.

Jyden made 9 of 14 shots from the floor, including 6 of 10 from 3-point range. He got help from teammate Gerald “Sick One” Knapp, who logged 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Meason “Milo” Camille paced NBL with 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Harry “HarryVZN” Spierings contributed 14 points and seven assists.

Just one match is on the Tuesday schedule, with Bucks Gaming facing off against T-Wolves Gaming.

The Turn is the second of three tournaments that lead up to the NBA 2K League 5v5 Playoffs that run June 26-29. Last month, Warriors Gaming Squad won The Tipoff. The Turn runs through June 15, and the final tournament, The Ticket, is scheduled for June 18 and June 22.

Group-play results will determine bracket seeding for The Turn, which carries a $160,000 prize pool.
