Jacksonville, FL.- We’re gona party like its 1999 down in Duval County!
This morning (July 18) the Jacksonville Jaguars unveiled their highly anticipated Prowler Throwback uniforms via social media. These uniforms come as a celebration of the franchise’s 30th season, highlighting the past, while also looking forward to a bright future.
The uniforms take direct inspiration from kits used during the late 1990’s to early 2000’s, which feature teal jerseys with the pouncing Jaguar logo and gold accents on the sleeves, white pants and a black helmet with the retro decal on the side. The jerseys also display the throwback number font on the front, back, and shoulders.
Following the release of this set, the Jaguars immediately propel themselves into “Top 3 Throwback Uniform Combination” status, alongside the Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles.
The Jags plan to wear these gorgeous uniforms during their Week 6 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts (October 6). Former Head Coach Tom Coughlin will also be inducted into the Pride of the Jaguars on the same date.
